Bohemian Rodeo

Well, I shelled out for a MIDI keyboard at CompUSA a couple of days ago, because it seemed like it would be a good idea. It also seemed like a good idea to sit down this morning and tinker around making some music. It may not, however, have been a good idea to spend 12 hours straight (no meals, no peeing, no blinking) on whatever the hell this thing is. I call it Bohemian Rodeo.

So I see you invented a new genre for Prophecies, but this one transcends genre? I like it.

Maybe it's my formative years listening to prog rock music in the '70's and '80's, but this sounded like the opening intro song to what would be a really cool coming of age road themed concept album - or movie

Well, I liked both pieces quite a lot. Be careful about self-deprecating comments though. Because I liked your "cheesey" piece does that make my taste in music cheesey? Is cheesey a bad thing? Can "cheesey" be an indication of the richness and voluptuousness of whatever it is being applied to? Its high fat content? Its tendency to stretch when heated? You could create a whole sub-genre called Velvet Cheesey, redolent of that favorite Kraft faux-cheese. And then there's Smoked Cheesey, Ripe Cheesey, Runny Cheesey, Stinkey Cheesey. ah, yes, we could go on forever.
