This is the everything-else room (meaning not the bedroom) of our new apartment (or "flat," as they say). It's actually in the basement of the previously mentioned pink-bikini-clad lady's house. Note also the previously mentioned Eurofficiency manifest by putting the shower in the corner of the kitchen. Luckily, we don't have guests often. The toilet, also as previously mentioned, is in its own room through the door and to the right. To the Czech mindset, clearly, it is most important to put the toilet in its own room, even if that means putting a shower right next to the kitchen sink. It's a nice apartment, and the landlady brings us the produce of her half-acre-plus garden on an approximately weekly basis. Still on the vines, so to speak: Peppers, pears, plums, and kohlrabi.
