Right in the middle of the city, the Brandenburg Gate was completely sealed up when the wall bisected it. (Not much a gate, really, then, was it?) Now it’s wide open and you can see from the truck that everything is still under construction. Just to the left of what you can see is the Hotel Adlon, where Michael Jackson dangled his kid over the balcony a while back.
