Everything in the middle of Berlin is under construction. The enormous no-person’s-land where the wall ran is quickly being renovated, reconstructed, redesigned, and otherwise filled in, thoughtfully and reunification-mindedly. This inlaid Memorial Sidewalk Strip marks where the Wall ran, almost 15 years ago, along a stretch near Potsdamerplatz.
