This is the bottom part of St. Vitus Cathedral. The steeples can be seen from all over the city. This cathedral took 600 years to complete. I guess there was a lack of funding, and some unforeseeable delays. Maybe it was difficult to find reliable subcontractors.

The mosaic above the three arches at bottom right is called “The Mosiac of the Last Judgment” and dates from 1370.

You never really get the sense of how enormous and magnificent and ornate these things are until you see them up close. Pictures don’t do it justice. At least mine don’t.
