Brno, Kutna Hora, and Vienna April & May, 2004 [ Main Page ]
The Czech Republic joined the European Union on May 1, 2004. There was very little to mark the event. 12 minutes of fireworks at midnight, and the addition of the EU flag to the government buildings were all I saw.
