For me, one of the most striking features of the jungle is how plants will quite happily grow on other plants that are themselves growing on other plants. This is some sort of viney tree (not a parasitical plant) growing around another tree, with epiphytes (plants that do not need dirt, because their roots absorb what they need right out of the air) thrown in for good measure.
